Its morning and you will see many people riding their bikes to work here in Sweden.Its a large number of people who prefer riding their bikes to work.
Engineers,doctors,professors you name it.....people from all walks of life.Its a healthy sigen. if you ask them why they do it the answer is simeple ..its healthy not only for oneself but also for the environment.
Really cool thought I think.On the other hand its also cheaper to do so.Its funny cause for the same reason back on the brown soil people going to work on a bicykel would be consired very very poor.
its also a matter of prestige....its the milkman,the labourers and sunch professons which are supposed to be riding the bikes...there you dont think about the environment much ..we have many trees and fields would be the common layman answer there.
apart from these serious thoughts its a humurous thing that S (a brilliant engineer) would be ashamed to tell folks back home that the mode of trasport here for this engineer is a bicykel..lolzz

maybe its because of our habit of looking at the world through others eyes that makes us so self concious. I biked to my school but than that was very close and now I bike to my university here and I love it
